Friday Futures #9 - Irvine Kinneas

I’ve giving FF8 a ton of love. It was the game that really hooked me into the FF series and holds the fondest of places in my heart (GIVE ME A REMAKE!!!! We also know that in Opus 9 we will be getting more FF8 cards, so I no longer have to build mono ice discard for title anymore…YAY!!!! With that being said, there are a ton of cards we could get and characters yet to be seen, but first I want to throw out some love to Irvine. The card we currently have is good, or was good through opus 4 per say. However, it was too flavorful……he only dealt 6k on entry…..always “missing the shot” on the important 7ks. I don’t want my man Irvine being reduced to bulk binder fodder so I figured we needed a forward version of the playboy himself.

I know its a Legend and we will never see it, but man Irvine needs some love. We’ve got multiples of all the crew except him, we even have 2 Wards and he doesn’t even say anything. Oh but before I forget…….I do actually have a few other thoughts on cards we should or could see………

Simple and sweet for this guy……however, out of the normal color paradigm for him so great in title.

I also wanted to through in Griever…..but I’ll revisit him later. That card needs to be extremely good and flavorful….I just haven’t crafted it yet.
